AmaZulu midfielder Khulekani Madondo has corrected the mistake in his ID book which listed his name as Kulegani for the past two years.
Madondo told his club's website: “I’ve rectified everything with Home Affairs on my first name, and it’s something I should’ve done a long time ago.
“I know a lot of people have been asking me and the club over the years as to why it’s written as Kulegani instead of Khulekani.”
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old is determined to help Usuthu improve on their ninth-placed finish in the League last season.
“The focus now is to try and double the efforts for the season, personally and with the team. I’m so glad that so far we’re all pushing towards one goal, to better our performance.”
Craig Rosslee's side will sharpen their pre-season preparations by competing in the Charity Challenge on Saturday alongside Bidvest Wits, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Bloemfontein Celtic at Bidvest Stadium.
