Mamelodi Sundowns exercise Denis Onyango contract option

Posted: 14 July 2014 Time: 16:50

Mamelodi Sundowns have exercised the option of a further year on Ugandan goalkeeper Denis Onyango’s contract.

Onyango – who spent the past season on loan at Bidvest Wits – will now remain on Sundowns’ books until June 2015.

KickOff.com has been informed by the player’s agent Ivica Stankovic that Sundowns have already sent a letter informing them of their decision to exercise the option of a further year on the original contract the 29 year-old signed when he joined the club in 2011.

Onyango has been in camp with Sundowns during pre-season and kept goals last Friday when they played against Zimbabwean giants Highlanders in a friendly match played in Bulawayo.

Meanwhile, Onyango has travelled back to his homeland to join Uganda ahead of their 2015 AFCON qualifier against Equatorial Guinea on Saturday.

One thing I admire about Sundowns is that they dont treat their players like slaves, training without contracts with hope that their Sherman will offer them a new one or else face victimisation if they choose to leave just like Lekoelea. That Sherman needs to be taught a thing or two about bureaucracy.

Your example its like one of those men who make children then abondon them or fail to support them untill one man rescues them later when a child is succefull they pop up in news papers saying a child doesnt recognise their parents. Grow up boeta the very same way Negomsha left its almost the same as Brain who knows he could've possible ended up Thabang Lebese etc Selfmade at Naturena fed Sunday meal at Cloorkop. How's that? Before you brag baba look at facts holistically dont just talk and waste oxygen.
