Chippa United have confirmed that they will not renew the contract of English striker Carl Finnigan or former youth international midfielder Mkhanyiseli Siwahla.

Peter Koutroulis, the CEO at Chippa, confirms the departure, telling KickOff.com: “Their contracts will not be renewed following their expiry at the end of June.”

Finnigan joined at the beginning of last season following a spell with Dundee FC, while Siwahla arrived at the end of last year after a brief spell at Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Koutroulis also confirms that they are still waiting on Mamelodi Sundowns with regards to their interest in Eleazar Rodgers.

Siwahla must go party to infinity with Fanteni, there will be no media after him now. But I would go back to school if I was him, he is still young. I know of people who got their degrees as old as close to 50 years.

Lefty - you made a good point right there!  Siwahla - if you are reading this - please take this as good advise. You can now focus on Education. You will have more reasons than Mathew Booth to start studying. Do not hang the soccer boots. Please just throw them away!!

Eish taYangas - then he must go right back to Primary School - wear shorts, and actually take  'refresher'  lessons to check if he can function at that level ! By looking at his head, there might be something good still left in there!!
