George Chigova, who has signed for SuperSport United from Zimbabwean champions Dynamos, has gone back home as he has not yet received his work permit.
The goalkeeper is currently training with his former club as he awaits the paperwork.
"I have brought all my papers and my work permit is still being processed. I am not sure how long it will take but I hope it will be soon," Chigova says.
Chigova, a double league winner with Dnyamos, faces a stern challenge for game-time from Matsatsantsa's number one Ronwen Williams, but he has faith in his abilities.
"I know it will not be easy but I would not have signed for the club if I did not think I was good enough," he adds.
Chigova joined United after an impressive display at the CHAN tournament in South Africa in January where the Warriors reached the semi-finals of the event before losing out to eventual winners Libya.
Chigova is among a host of Zimbabweans that earned PSL deals after the competition. Kudakwashe Mahachi was signed by Mamelodi Sundowns, Eric Chipeta joined Chippa United, Milton Ncube linked up with Ajax Cape Town, while Peter Moyo was snapped up by Mpumalanga Black Aces.
