Ajax Cape Town have explained why midfielder Nhlanhla Shabalala, who was given his marching orders for what appeared to be a second bookable offence in the MTN 8 quarterfinal against Moroka Swallows at Olympia Park Stadium, was back in the Urban Warriors’ line up against the Dube Birds again last night.
Ajax PRO Shooz Mekuto discloses that in the first match against Swallows on August 9, both Shabalala and teammate, Franklin Cale, were both sitting on yellow cards.
When the incident took place, Cale pointed out to referee Lwandile Mfiki that Shabalala was the guilty party and Shabalala was then sent off.
“However, the match commissioner on the day has since overturned the referee’s decision and said Nhlanhla was wrongfully sent off as Cale should have been the one sent off. This means Nhlanhla can play while Cale is suspended.”
Shabalala played the full 90 minutes last night in the match that the Urban Warriors won the match 4-2. Five goals in the match came from headers.

**********The going says " Don't beat a snake when it's already dead. Telling Chiefs that sundowns gonna win the cup it's like beating the snake that is already dead. Don't waste your energy beating the snake, that is alredy dead" Chiefs gonna share R800. 000 like other teams such as Pirates, Swallows, etc
