Former youth international defender Thapelo Tshilo has attracted interest from elsewhere following an impressive season with Polokwane City.
Tshilo, who captained Polokwane as they retained their PSL status via the play-offs, will see out his season-long deal at the end of the month.
According to his manager Joseph Cotty, the 29-year-old is yet to renew with Polokwane and there have been enquiries.
“He [Tshilo] just had a season in which he captained the club to survival so it is natural that there would be others asking about him," Cotty tells KickOff.com.
"What I can confirm right now is that he is going to be free at the end of the month as he hasn’t signed a new contract. I am actually happy that sending him out to Polokwane has worked out well after not playing at Bidvest Wits.
"We should be able to sort out his future in the next week or so because for now he has just come back from the play-offs,” adds Cotty.
Tshilo has also done duty for Jomo Cosmos and Mamelodi Sundowns.
