Mhlongo, Monama and Mabunda to Polokwane City?

Posted: 3 June 2014 Time: 09:02

Polokwane City are looking to sign veteran defender Benson Mhlongo, and the Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Tiyani Mabunda and Raymond Monama.

Mhlongo is currently without a job after his contract with Platinum Stars was not renewed, while Monama was on loan at University of Pretoria.

AmaTuks are also interested in signing Monama permanently from Sundowns and it looks like they will now battle it out with City for his signature.

City spokesperson Patrick Baloyi would not comment on their transfer targets, but admitted that the team is currently negotiating with other players to join them next season.

“We cannot not reveal the players we currently negotiating at the moment as other teams can pounce,” Baloyi tells KickOff.com.

“But there are other players we are currently looking at. We learned our lesson last season and this time we need to beef up well.”

City retained their status in the PSL after defeating Black Leopards 2-1 in the final match of the promotional play-offs on Sunday in Giyani.

BUCSELONA He refused to come to Bucs when we were chasing him and choose the gravy train...he can go disappear with those relegation contenders. The door at Parktown has been shut!!

Good plan Benson Mhlongo and Raymond Monama, they're good players but Tiyani Mabundu he's good for Mamelodi Sundowns.

City should also sign Gordon Igesund as their coach. Boebie "Park the Intercape" Solomon is bad for them.

Better to sign them all otherwise it wont survive next seasons. And please fire Boebie. He is not good for your team

Start with the coach. Go and get Papic. he might not win you anything but the team will be very competitive and be in top 8 come the end of the season.

Take monama,he looses the ball too much with stray passes but mabunda is hlompos understudy so never take mabunda.he's too stylish to fight relegation again
