University of Pretoria bid for Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Monama

Posted: 26 May 2014 Time: 13:17

KickOff.com can reveal that University of Pretoria have made an official offer for Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Raymond Monama.

Monama spent the past season on loan at AmaTuks.

"We are in discussion (with Sundowns)," Tuks coach Steve Barker tells this website.

"We have a few other prospects but we will reveal more in two weeks' time."

Barker also declared that Buhle Mkhwanazi is staying put. The Bafana Bafana defender has attracted interest from Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits.

"He is not going anywhere. We want to keep our best players for next season," Barker adds.
