Nhlakanipho Ntuli to sign pro contract with FC Twente

Posted: 29 April 2014 Time: 11:43

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Nhlakanipho Ntuli is set to be offered a professional contract with FC Twente.

Ntuli joined the Dutch side last season, but was later loaned back to the Buccaneers – ‘parked’ until he turned 18 in February.

But such has been his performances for the junior team that he will now be promoted to the first team where he will sign a five-year contract.

“Mike Makaab is in Holland to finalise the boy’s deal and he is expected to sign before the end of this week,” our source said.

“He is set to start training with the second team before officially being promoted to the first team.”

now thats what we want to hear, at yo age this is just good. but, my son try to open books and get yourself  a education, as hectic as your life will be, a sports management diploma/degree can not be that much difficult to cope with.

It is saddening to see how Roger De Sa failed to see potential in this guy..! This Ntuli guy is a gem of a player and should be included for the Afcon 2015 qualifiers for Bafana Bafna..!

Interesting this boy was never given a chance in the Bucs team...especially considering useless players like Malonguana got chances

Good luck boy

Roger denied us fans the opportunity to see Ntuli playing in the Pirates 1st team. Anyway its good to see an actuall "youngster" getting an opportunity overseas. Offered a 5 year contract with a team(FC Twente) where a certain player returned to SA with his ashy elbow inbetween his legs

Not playing for Pirates 1st team is a blessing in disguise for the young man.He will get proper development and grow as footballer in Holland, and could be one of the future star.Mathoho,Masalesa missed this opportunity because they were chasing short term fame.
