Mamelodi Sundowns minus Mashaba, Kekana for Bloemfontein Celtic clash

Posted: 7 April 2014 Time: 11:02

Mamelodi Sundowns will be minus Mzikayise Mashaba and Hlompho Kekana when they host Bloemfontein Celtc at Loftus Stadium on Wednesday, with the former set to have a scan today.

Full-back Mashaba and midfielder Kekana are both suspended after each receiving a fourth booking in the 1-0 win over champions Kaizer Chiefs at the weekend.

Mashaba also sustained a hamstring injury against Amakhosi, prompting Downs coach Pitso Mosimane to replace him with Tebogo Langerman just before the interval.

The Brazilians also enter the Celtic clash with goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene sitting on three cautions. Wayne Sandilands has been ruled of action for six weeks with an ankle problem.

Well its not much of a blow as we still have capable players on the bench.

Only two changes to be made from the line up i say Punch in for Mashaba and Zungu for Kekana problem solved

If Mashaba did play de whole 90 minutes believe me Sundowns should have scored more than 3 goals and became man of de match as I predict on Friday......

mmmhhh this is interesting in the goalkeeping department, Mweene must remain disciplined or maybe its time to introduce that Ngobeni boy from Zebras.

Lol. Mashaba I think George Lebese is the cause of your Injury. I never saw you working over time like that. I always think Teboho Langerman can do better

Please Mr Editor, never say such thins about Sundowns, there is too much depth there, right now they are winning games left right without half of their 1st eleven, Question should Celtic monitor in midfield an left bac, is it Langerman or Punch, and is it Zungu or even Nyandoro

Nebo03  That Mashaba boy was giving us hard time and after he was stretched off, we started dominating the game. He was causing havoc in our defence. Nebo03 you are spot on.

If Mashaba did finish de game....

1.  Between Gaxa or Gould one should have been sent off.

2.  Sundowns should have scored 3 goals

3.  Chiefs fans ( Hobbos ) should have throw bottles inside de pitch as usual.

4.  Sundowns will be on top of de log by now...!!

eronrag Nebo03

Yes Khosi wen I look at your possible starting line up I just knw Lebese and Gaxa will only play on his side,  which both are not good on defending instead of attacking...!!

While Mashaba 's very skill full and dangerous especially when he 's going foward believe me you were so lucky dat he have to be replaced due to injury ..Otherwise..Pasop

Morgan was once asked who would come up top on a 50/50 ball between him and katsande. He said they are not stupid enough to go for that ball cause both would end up hospital.

Nebo03  Dude Mashaba was needed for the whole 90 min Chips saw fit to injure him cause they couldn't handle him.

And as for sending off definitely Gould was hitting the showers early.

If Khama started the game then both Gaxa and Gould would have hit the showers.

If Kekane finished the 90 then Mini would not be getting it for two weeks cause Khune would have been injured attempting to stop a thunder bolt.
