Former youth international striker Lucky Nguzana says he is grateful to Craig Rosslee for the belief the AmaZulu coach has shown in him since he was dumped by Golden Arrows.
Nguzana has made an incredible start to his Usuthu career since signing a week ago and has scored in both matches he has played for the club to date.
The Sundowns development product declares that his aim is to continue repaying Rosslee for the trust that he has shown in him.
“It is all credit to Craig that I am playing for AmaZulu and doing what I have done so far,” Nguzana tells KickOff.com.
“The most important thing in football is that for you to perform you have to play under a coach who believes in you. Right now I am feeling good because I have a coach who has shown he can trust me to do a job for him and the only thing for me now is to keep pushing and maintain my scoring form.
"I really hope to keep it this way. I am really happy to be at a team where we are all treated the same which is a huge motivating factor because you know that as long as you do well at training then you will play in the games,” says the burly striker.
The 23-year-old is on a performance-related contract running up to the end of the season with an option to renew.
“I am not really thinking so much about the contract right now because my focus is on doing a job that I have been hired to do. I actually feel like I have signed a three-year contract,” he adds.
