Golden Arrows have trimmed their bloated squad, with former youth international striker Lucky Nguzana and ex-Chippa United midfielder Masonwabe Bovu being released.
Nguzana arrived at Arrows at the beginning of last season after enduring some testing times at Mamelodi Sundowns, but has since been sacrificed along with Bovu, who also arrived last season.
Arrows spokesman Vusumuzi Vilakazi confirms the departure of Nguzana and Bovu.
The club has also already reached an agreement with First Division outfit Blackburn Rovers to take the pair of Litha Ngxabi and Malawian striker Peter Wadabwa on loan for the rest of the season.
Ngxabi and Wadabwa battled for game-time at Arrows, leading to their moves to Rovers, who are also struggling in the first division.
Rovers are now based in Durban.
