Golden Arrows release Lucky Nguzana and Masonwabe Bovu

Posted: 26 February 2014 Time: 13:19

Golden Arrows have trimmed their bloated squad, with former youth international striker Lucky Nguzana and ex-Chippa United midfielder Masonwabe Bovu being released.

Nguzana arrived at Arrows at the beginning of last season after enduring some testing times at Mamelodi Sundowns, but has since been sacrificed along with Bovu, who also arrived last season.

Arrows spokesman Vusumuzi Vilakazi confirms the departure of Nguzana and Bovu.

The club has also already reached an agreement with First Division outfit Blackburn Rovers to take the pair of Litha Ngxabi and Malawian striker Peter Wadabwa on loan for the rest of the season.

Ngxabi and Wadabwa battled for game-time at Arrows, leading to their moves to Rovers, who are also struggling in the first division.

Rovers are now based in Durban.

Let this be a learning experience to all PSL teams....if you operate/run a professional club as a spaza shop you will suffer the consequences (relegation).....

What About The Cows That Got Arrows Into This Predicament, Why Are They Not Released? Woo! I Sense Relegation Here, Bartlett And Phakati Better Be Holding On Tight Through This Rough Stormy Seas About To Rock Their Boat. Once And Always Bucs.

Information from my highly reliable source at mayfair says that Nguzana and Bovu are joining the rats from the beginning of next season as they look to end Amakhosi's dominance in PSL.

Arrows are not as sharp as before, the gold on its arrows is fading. is it because the arrows were never golden in the first place. Manto you must do something before your team playing in the NFD
