Former Golden Arrows assistant coach Ncikazi joins Komphela at Maritzburg United

Posted: 12 February 2014 Time: 13:26

Maritzburg United have appointed Mandla Ncikazi as the club's new assistant coach.

Ncikazi, who performed the same role at neighbouring Golden Arrows, replaces Fadlu Davids. Davids left the Team of Choice last month to reunite with Ernst Middendorp at Bloemfontein Celtic.

Ncikazi will serve under head coach Steve Komphela, who returned to United in December to succeed the sacked Clinton Larsen.

Komphela has claimed four points in his two games in charge of the side, most recently supervising a 2-2 draw with pace-setting champions Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday.

Guess it's a 'I go where my head coach goes' no loyalty to the previous team that stood by him all a long. Good riddance To back stabbers. They are better off without these kind of assistants that never goes anywhere any hows, they're just stagnant on being a assistant. So ja, no good. Once and always.
