Bloemfontein Celtic coach Middendorp wary of Platinum Stars pair Botes, N'gambi threat

Bloemfontein Celtic coach Ernst Middendorp has identified attackers Henrico Botes and Robert N'gambi as potential dangermen for Platinum Stars in the clubs' upcoming league clash.

Celtic, who beat University of Pretoria 2-0 at the weekend, will visit the Telkom Knockout and MTN8 champions at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday, with kick-off at 19h30.

“We are very much taking it game by game and we are preparing for a tough match against Platinum Stars away and we know they are a successful team with trophies under their belt already this season,” Middendorp told Phunya Sele Sele's official website.

“They have a certain passing pattern that causes most team problems and they also have, dangerous individual players who can score through good movement off the ball.

“Henrico Botes and Robert N’gambi are just two of their players on top of their game so we need to prepare ourselves.

“I know we will get our opportunities with our movement, but we are playing a big horse, and we go into the match very much as underdogs but I feel we can come back with a positive result.”
