Witbank Spurs player Papa dies tragically

KickOff.com offers our sincere condolences after the news of the passing away of Witbank Spurs midfielder Sibusiso Isaac Papa.

"It is with great sadness that we would like to officially advise of the passing of Witbank Spurs midfielder, Mr Sibusiso Isaac Papa," read a statement from Witbank Spurs.

"The late Mr S.I Papa was involved in a fatal car accident Sunday morning. His funeral will take place on the 15 February 2014, in the Eastern Cape."

Mpumalanga Black Aces have also offered their sympathies on their Facebook page:

"We are deeply saddened by the news of his tragic passing in the early hours yesterday. Born in East London 27 years ago he was an exceptionally talented midfielder.

"The Aces family would like to send our sincere sympathies to the Witbank Spurs team, Isaac's family & friends and to the entire football fraternity on his passing.

May his Soul REST in PEACE forever"
