Bloemfontein Celtic recruits Magogi Gabonamong and Musa Bilankulu are eager to prove their worth at the club in the upcoming derby against Free State Stars.
Celtic, who visit Ea Lla Koto next Sunday, recently signed midfielder Gabonamong on an 18-month contract from SuperSport United, while they landed central defender Bilankulu on a loan deal from Bidvest Wits.
And naturally the experienced pair are keen to help Phunya Sele Sele climb the standings, with the team currently lying 12th on the Premiership table.
"I am looking forward to the challenge of playing at a big club like Celtic," Gabonamong told his club's official website.
"I have always enjoyed the supporters here and playing for the club will be both challenging and rewarding.
"I think the current Celtic team is a good team with lots of potential and they have a great set up with regard to infrastructure and facilities.
"I am also looking forward to working under head coach Ernst Middendorp as he is an experienced coach and one that can lead this club positively.
"At the moment I am looking forward to the first match of the year and that happens to be the derby against free State Stars so it will be a huge occasion."
Bilankulu, a former Golden Arrows man, added: "I have played in the Durban derby with Golden Arrows against AmaZulu so I have a sense of the occasion but I think the Free State derby has more spice, especially among the supporters.
"I believe the team could be a top eight team at the very least and I look forward to the challenge of helping the team to get there."
