New SuperSport United signing Dino Ndlovu says he is not planning to return to Maccabi Haifa after his six-month loan deal expires.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic striker still has two-and-a-half years remaining with the Israeli side, but he says going back is not an option.
“No, I don’t want to go back there,” Ndlovu tells KickOff.com. “I’ve had difficulties there over the last three months and asked the team to loan me out, this after the club’s fans racially abused me.
“The fans were booing me and told me to go home to Uganda, so I could not bear the fact that I was away from home and I’m a foreigner, so that’s why I came home.”
However, the 23-year-old insists a return to Europe remains his priority.
“My first priority was to stay in Europe, but the club was blocking my move because they wanted a lot of money,” Ndlovu adds. “So I sat down with my manager and we spoke, and I said he must find me a club in South Africa for loan.”
Although he still contracted to Maccabi, Ndlovu says the club has agreed to sell him to other club should there be interest.
