Mamelodi Sundowns Zungu Laffor Mabunda Mphahlele Sangweni injury update

Posted: 7 January 2014 Time: 16:36

Mamelodi Sundowns' Bongani Zungu, Anthony Laffor, Tiyani Mabunda, Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Thami Sangweni have all returned to full training after recovering from their respective knocks.

Downs revealed the news in statement on their official website.

Zambia international Mukuka Mulenga, meanwhile, is doing light training in the gym as he makes his way back from ankle surgery, while Rodney Ramagalela is no longer experiencing pain in his hamstring, and is awaiting the results of a fresh scan.

However, Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila (hamstring) and reserve goalkeeper Glenn Verbauwhede (ankle) remain on the sidelines.

We want the entire squad to be fit for the 23 Jan match deemed top of the clash match. We don't want that big head Pitso to have excuses after the match.

Laffor was reported as 'unhappy'...and now he is declared fit to start training.  Kickoff should leave us alone now - it's a bore:

Welcome back Sengwayo. It's good to hear the news that you are back at training. Your intelligence in the middle of the parking was missing for the last three games. Hope you will be fit when the PSL resumes. Your creative and vision in the middle of the park was missed.
