SuperSport United returned to winning ways after a 3-1 victory against Golden Arrows on Saturday evening.
Bennet Chenene had given the hosts the lead early on after goalkeeper Nkosingiphile Gumede had spilled Thuso Phala's cross.
However, SuperSport's backline failed to deal with the Arrows' attackers on 20 minutes, allowing Philani Shange to grab an equaliser.
Bradley Grobler restored the lead early in the second half before David Mathebula's screamer secured the points for Cavin Johnson's team.
The win moves SuperSport back up to second spot, two points behind Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns, while Arrows remain second from bottom with just seven points from nine games.
