Former Free State Stars defender Kampamba Chintu has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for trials and is doubtful for this Sunday’s Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup quarter-final clash against Zimbabwe.
Kampamba’s manager Joe Mwala confirmed to KickOff.com that the Zambian defender left the country on Monday for trials at UAE’s Second Division side Vibba Football Club.
He added that depending on the outcome of the trials the former Golden Arrows defender may be signed immediately or not.
Chintu (27) is currently clubless following the expiry of his contract with Free State Stars, who seem not keen to renew it.
