Bloemfontein Celtic goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb is excited to be working under new manager Ernst Middendorp.

Middendorp, who has coached the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Hearts of Oak and Arminia Bielefeld, recently swapped places with Clinton Larsen, with the latter now in charge of Maritzburg United.

"I am very excited to be working with a coach of his stature. I didn’t know him personally before this week but I have watched him for years now," Tignyemb told Celtic's official website.

"His experience at big teams across Africa will help him, and he coached Maritzburg United; a very competitive team all round.

"Celtic is on the way to becoming a giant in the PSL, with the new facilities, an experienced and worldly new head coach and an ambitious senior management."

The Cameroonian continued: "Middendorp’s experience all over the world means he is used to dealing with all types of situations and players, and that is what we need here at Celtic.

"We have had a poor start but I promise the supporters we are working exceptionally hard to turn it around and we are not only pushing for a top eight position but we want to keep improving with every season.

"We want to win a cup and do well in the league and then next season with Middendorp we want to be a top four team," concluded Tignyemb.

Simple Math: Bloem Celtic + Tignyemba = FAILURE! Therefore: Celtic - Failure = -Tignyemba! Thank you!
