Middendorp joins Bloemfontein Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic have hired Ernst Middendorp as their head coach.

Middendorp takes up the role after yesterday resigning from fellow Premier Soccer League outfit Maritzburg United.

The position became vacant when Clinton Larsen quit Phunya Sele Sele on Monday.

"I am excited to take on this challenge knowing the huge support that this club has and the existing resources that they have invested," Middendorp said in a statement released by the German's agent, Steve Kapeluschnik.

"I am looking forward to coaching the players and I am passionate about helping the club fulfill its potential."

Middendorp, whose contract runs until 2016, is expected to be in the stands when Celtic contest the annual Macufe Cup with one of his former clubs Kaizer Chiefs at Free State Stadium on Sunday.

I wont be surprised if the Siwelele supporters stop singing even when they are losing 3-1 with 88 minutes on the clock as they normally do. This man is the reason Chiefs ended outside the top8 one season, ruined a great footballer's career along the way, he is so rigid it aint funny

hope the Celtic players respond to his tactics anyway

The reason why I stopped supporting Kaizer Chiefs is he ruined a great footballer's talent Scara Ngobese, may his soul rest in peace.

Back to de Business I don't think He 's de right man for de Job Celtic Supporters doesn't differ much much with Sundowns, Chiefs and Pirates fans while de man in charge can't really handle pressure He fail at de Zoo bcos of pressure not bcos he was not a good coach.

Anyway let me wish him all de best on his new job and again in his first Assignment against Tortoises FC over de weekend ( Macufe Cup)  bcos de really Test are stil yet to come especially from de Galaxy of Stars !!!!

This surely doesn't need a degree in Phsycology. Larsen will be appointed coach of Maritzburg instead of Polokwane. He has been workin outside KZN for 4yrs..this is n opportunity to go back home.
