The Zimbabwean goalkeeper rejoined Aces last week on a two-year deal.
But with the club having already recruited five foreign players in Method Mwanjali, Eduardo Ferreira, Onyekachi Okonkwo, Ofentse Nato and Tendai Ndoro, Murambadoro will only be available once he acquires permanent residence status from the South African government.
Murambadoro qualifies for naturalisation as he has already spent a minimum of five years in the country, and will become the second foreign player at Aces registered as a local after Swaziland midfielder Dennis Masina.
"Energy had already applied for his permanent residence permit before we signed him but we are still waiting for it to be issued by Home Affairs," says Aces spokesman Gordon Masondo.
"Once he gets his papers, then we will register him as our third goalkeeper. For now he is training with the rest of the squad, waiting for his papers."
AmaZyoni are also still waiting for Zimbabwean striker Ndoro’s work permit to come through.
