Correction: Wits sign Getaneh Kebede

Posted: 18 July 2013 Time: 09:47

Bidvest Wits have completed the signing of Ethiopian striker Getaneh Kebede.

The 21-year-old striker scored one of the goals in Ethiopia’s 2-1 win over Bafana Bafana in a 2014 World Cup qualifier recently.

“He is our player,” Wits CEO Jose Ferreira confirms. “I can’t mention how many years he has signed for but it’s a lengthy contract.”

This story earlier indicated Wits had signed Kenyan defender Eugene Asike. That is not the case.

Bro I like people like u. You know ur SPORTS, yes its good to see best players from all over our continent coming to SA. This is also good for the league and the BUSINESS as well.

THE PSL CAN BRAG ABOUT THE LIKES OF (African players)
Emanuel Emenike (former Aces player, Nigeria-now plays in Turkey)
Obi Mikel (former Ajax player, Nigeria, Chelsea)
Enoh Eyong (former Ajax player, Cameroon, Fulham)
Benjani (former Cosmos, Zimbabwe, former Man City player)
The list is endless.

I THINK PSL TEAMS MUST START BEING BUSINESS MINDED, RECRUIT THE "CREAM OF AFRICA & CROP OF AFRICA AND SELL THEM".
