Ajax Cape Town winger Khama Billiat on trial at Lokomotiv Moscow

Khama Billiat will mix with some of Europe’s top players as he undergoes a final assessment at top Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow this week.

The Ajax Cape Town winger is arguably the hottest property during the transfer window, with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns battling it out for his services.

But Mickey Paiva, the South African agent brokering the deal, reveals the Zimbabwean international is flying out of the country today to link up with Lokomotiv at their pre-season camp in Slovenia.

“Khama is leaving today for a final assessment with Lokomotiv Moscow,” Paiva tells KickOff.com. “They have been very satisfied with the DVDs we have shown them and now it’s just to look at him close up.

“It will be a great move for the player because Lokomotiv are a club with massive history – this will be a great chance for him.”

Despite having established European-based stars like Vedran Corluka, Felipe Caicedo, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Nigeria’s Victor Obinna in their ranks, Lokomotiv had been struggling in recent years and finished a disappointing ninth in the previous League season.

Paiva says they expect a final answer at the end of the week.

“He will be there for four days and then we’ll see what they come up with. I will then sit with Ajax Cape Town and his agent Edzai Kasinauyo, who have been very cooperative in making this happen, to see what is best for Khama.”

Fifa can on Monday confirmed that the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) has been sanctioned for fielding an ineligible player in the preliminary competition match for the 2014 Fifa World Cup Brazil™ between Botswana and Ethiopia played on 8 June 2013.

The match is declared to be forfeited and awarded 3-0 in favour of Botswana, with the EFF also receiving a fine of CHF 6 000 after the Fifa Disciplinary Committee considered the EFF liable for having breached art. 55 par. 1 of the Fifa Disciplinary Code and art. 8 of the 2014 Fifa World Cup Brazil™ Regulations.

The sanction relates to the Ethiopian player Minyahile Teshome Beyene failing to serve the automatic one-match suspension imposed on him following two cautions received in two different matches (art. 17 par. 3 of the Fifa Disciplinary Code).

You meant Moscow Road in Naturena? Welcome Aboard Khama. It was long overdue. Relax and you'll get a fitness assessment and be in shape within the coming two to three weeks. You'll also be relieved that if you were signed by our neighbors you were going to Lucky's uncle to work on you.

Moscow's Recommmendations:
1. Play for a Top South African Team First
2. Play along best players in your league(PSL)
3. Play for a Top Team with Top Player Management in place
4. We will assess you after the 2013/2014 Season since you'll also be involved in CAF Champs League.

Last but not least ask them "Aphelelaphi lamasimba we Operation 40K and Smash and Grab?"

When you are done leave them alone they're just Gorillas
