Khumalo not on transfer

Tottenham Hotspur has not placed Bongani Khumalo on transfer

Posted: 19 June 2013 Time: 11:37 am

English club Tottenham Hotspur has not placed Bongani Khumalo on transfer despite speculation to the contrary.

According to reports in England, the former Bafana Bafana captain is one of 10 players who would be transfer-listed by the Londoners but the player's agent Glyn Binkin tells KickOff.com there is no truth to the rumour.

“It is not true that he is on transfer. It is just speculation,” Binkin says.

“He's got two more years to go at Spurs and he will return to the club on July 8 to report for pre-season so we will see but they have not indicated that he is on transfer,” he adds.

Khumalo joined Spurs in January 2011, but has been on loan at various clubs since then with the last being Greek club PAOK where he spent the last season.

This guy is failing dismally in his spell overseas but I believe he is not an entirely bad player.

I know for a fact that AVB has no plans for him at Spurs. He should rather come home and redeem himself.

I definitely would like to have him at Pirates because if he would play regularly alongside Sangweni, I think he would grow and development into the promising defender he once was.

The word 'Holy' is not one that should be used anyhow, especially if you're insulting someone. Khumalo is not a cow it's just that he couldn't deal with playing while wearing the captain's armband, unlike our new captain.

the reason why he is not on a tranfer list is because they forgot about him, period.

Benni isn't necessarily a coloured since his mom is black and hails from eMahlabathini. Mahlangu, Dikagcoi and Rantie are black and they're doing great for their clubs so I don't really get your point.

@lady goldilight,I think kagiso has failed cuz he to fulham and this past season has been playing championship soccer, let's wait and see if he survive the EPL,and about rantie and mahlangu they are still young so we can't predict the outcomes of their future and remember that rantie came back home once and he wanted to stay on with pie rats,if pie rats had paid that million rand for him,he would still be playing in psl

Kagisho hasn't failed. It's Fulham that didn't give him enough chance to prove himself. Proof that he's not a failure is that his team, Crystal Palace, has just been promoted to the Premier League. I'm gonna be honest I don't enjoy seeing this guy play for Bafana Bafana, but for his club he's doing wonders.
