City promoted to the Premier League

Polokwane City will be playing in the Premiership next season after winning the League on goal difference

National First Division side Polokwane City will be playing in the Premiership next season after winning the League on goal difference to get automatic promoting over Santos.

Third placed Mpumalanga Black Aces will take part in the play-offs with Santos and Chippa United.

NOTE: There are still a few outstanding PSL DC issues that could change the League standings slightly and that is why the teams have not all played the same amount of games on the League table.

Roses United 0-1 Polokwane City
A goal from Siphesihle Nzimande secured City automatic promotion to the Premiership on 49 points. City finished top of the table on goal difference ahead of Santos. While Roses finished on 30 points.

Mpumalanga Black Aces 1-1 Thanda Royal Zulu
Aces finished third on the log and took the last place of the play-offs after drawing with Thanda, who finish fourth with 47 points, one less than Aces. Thabang Rooi gave Aces the lead before Peter Wadwaba equalised.

Santos 2-1 Jomo Cosmos
Two penalties from Nasief Morris was not enough to give Santos automatic promotion, losing out on goal difference to Polokwane City and will now have to face the play-offs. Cosmos finished the game with nine men after having Tsatsi Theletsane and Vusumuzi Zunge red carded. Cosmos ended near the bottom of the table on 28 points.

FC AK 0-2 Vasco da Gama
Vasco finished the season on a high beating relegated FC AK. Vasco finish the season in ninth place with 40 points while FC AK finished second bottom on18 points.

African Warriors 4-0 Milano United
Milano were hammered by Warriors and having striker Lesvin Stoffels was red carded early in the second half did not help matters. Brice Aka scored all four goals for Warriors as both teams finished the season on 42 points.

Blackburn Rovers 2-2 Witbank Spurs
Rovers came back from behind to draw with Spurs. The Rovers goals were scored by Nkane Johannes and Mazwi Mncube. Spurs move up to fifth place with 42 points while Rovers finished on 32 points.

FC Cape Town 1-1 Dynamos
Tshepo Moloto scored for Dynamos while Jarrod Moroole was on target for FC CT. Dynamos finished last on the log with 17 points while FC Cape Town finished on 35 points.

Sivutsa Stars 1-1 United FC
The sides scored their goals in the first-half in a tight match. United finish the season on 41 points while Sivutsa finish on 29 points.

Only if Pat Malabela hadn't sold his status to Anazulu, Only if Ria Ledwaba hadn't sold her status to the PSL, only if Silver Stars owners hadn't sold their souls to Royal Bafokeng, and only if Mr Thidiela ran his team professionally. We would be having five teams from Limpopo by now. What a shame the above mentioned guys lacked vision. Limpopo has so much potential, only let down by incompetent teams owners.

The NFD is a total farce. Certain clubs, who were on strike at the beginning of the season will have points docked and fined. This is not the end of the circus!
