Kano Pillars climbed back to the summit of the NPFL table after recording a 2-0 win over Nasarawa United in a Week 10 game played on Wednesday.
Buhari Musa struck in the sixth minute to give Pillars a first half lead, and another goal by Rabiu Ali later in the second half helped secure the win for the hosts.
Pillars had lost their top position on the League table after a 4-0 drubbing by Enugu Rangers in Week 9. But Pillars are now two points ahead of Rangers whose Week 10 game has been shifted to Friday following their late arrival from Angola.
The game between Kano Pillars and Heartland which was abandoned because of a shooting incident has been rescheduled for May 29 at the Fifa Goal Project in Abuja.
Heartland are, however, demanding that three points and three goals be awarded in their favour.
