Podolski not ready to leave Gunners

Lukas Podolski says he has no intention of leaving Arsenal just yet

Lukas Podolski says talk linking him with a move to Juventus is flattering, but he has no intention of leaving Arsenal just yet.

The German striker has had an indifferent first season at the Emirates Stadium, but it hasn’t stopped some top clubs, including Atletico Madrid, supposedly chasing his signature.

However, Podolski insists he is not yet ready to leave.

“Firstly, I cannot help it that clubs are interested in me. And there are always people behind the scenes who want to float something in this business,” the former Bayern Munich man says.

“Secondly, any interest makes me proud because it is a recognition of my performance in London. It is unlikely [that I will leave] because, at the club and in the town, I feel really comfortable.

“As a player you have peace and quiet. I appreciate that very much. Therefore, I can honestly say I am not preparing for any change.”

We've heard it all before. If a trophy winning team is after and Arsenal player then that deal is as good as done! Arsene will not do everything in his power to keep you

Eish Lukas, I wish I could totally believe you, but due to previous experience at our team, Im not holding my breath. Every player wants to win cups for with their team, and if you decide to leave, I will not blame you at all. You are human anyway.
We have become a development team for others these past few seasons. Arsenal is no longer feared by smaller teams.
