Following the mass exodus which saw over 30 players leave, the club was left with just five players - Elton Peterson, Johannes Paseka, Curtly Jonosky, Mzondi Mthombeni and Leroy Smith.
The club has recruited 19 new players within the last two weeks – all of them free agents or players previously attached to amateur clubs.
Amongst the free agents with previous Premier League experience that have been snapped up are Taongo Dondo, Reason Chiloane, Alois Ngwerume, Daniel Gaborone, Tornado Mongale, Ndabenhle Mthembu and Martin Moonsamy.
With it's completely new squad the club has already managed to down promotion hopefuls Mpumalanga Black Aces before losing away at FC Cape Town.
Jerobeam Koert has stuck around as the head coach while Elasto Kapowezha is back within the club after temporarily moving out when the attempt by Atlie to buy the club status was still in motion.
Though the team remains stuck in the mud with a myriad of cases of unpaid salaries the club remains alive with more players still keen to join.
“For us we can only do what we have to do which is to get on with the business of training in preparation for games and then fulfilling those matches afterwards. As long as we have players and are able to assemble a team we will play,” says a club official.
The club has since shifted its training base to Florida Albion on the West Rand.
