Orlando Pirates have received a major boost with the news that Thulasizwe Mbuyane will only be out for about three weeks.
The striker was stretchered off during the Soweto Derby last weekend with a suspected torn thigh muscle and underwent a scan yesterday.
However, Mbuyane tells KickOff.com the news he received was positive.
“I can walk properly now. They doctor told me it was not a serious injury and I could be back inside three weeks,” he says.
It will come as welcome relief to Bucs coach Roger de Sa, who has already lost Sifiso Myeni for the rest of the season.

wat is this cow gona do.....he has less than 3 goals. (wat such striker)
was Mbuyane suppose to score while out with an injury for a longer term, eish mara some bloggers are now taking their ignorance very far. This is PHD staff phela.
Kickoff Journos are tired of rectifying this Gorillas. They are now pasting it the way they've said it.
Siyabonga Sangweni and Thulasizwe Mbuyane have been ruled out of the match against Zanaco over the weekend due to injury.
Sangweni (knee) - out for at least a week.
Mbuyane (thigh) - out for at least two weeks.
Lol yestday I said it that Sangweni won't be available for Bafana selection, we can't risk him, anyway I hope its what I think it is and all the best to bucs and our injured players.
Once and always!
Respect!!!
