AmaZulu sack assistant coach Fani Madida

AmaZulu have sacked assistant coach Fani Madida with immediate effect.

According to a statement released by Usuthu, “the decision to release Madida came … after it was found that the working relationship between the assistant coach and that of the head coach [Craig Rosslee] had not improved since the coach’s arrival”.

The club add that they will pay out the former Kaizer Chiefs striker for the months he had remaining on his contract, and also that the remainder of the technical team will stay as is.

Excellent decision by Amazulu, Fanie was bringing KC tactics to this well respected team.

It is said that Fanie told the management that they can avoid relegation & be in the top8 if they were to give him brown envelops full of money. He argued that he still maintains good relations with all the referees (including the 1 during the derby) that have been benefiting KC all along.
