Nigeria's Under-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets, hammered their Botswana counterparts 9-0 in the second leg of their two-legged friendly match played on Monday.

Bernard Bulbwa put Nigeria ahead in the 17th minute when he collected a pass from Musa Yahaya before beating a Botswana defender and shooting the ball into the net, for the only goal of the first-half.

In the second half, the Golden Eaglets overwhelmed Botswana with Ifeanyi Matthew scoring a hat trick in the 53rd, 65th and 69th minutes of the game.

Bulbwa got his second goal of the game in the 57th minute and Musa Yahaya bagged a brace in the 60th and 71st minutes.

Slowpoison22, sundawana and Mgugudi, Several of these guys were picked from the U-17 teams of EPL sides, they are well experienced and exposed technically. Athletism makes a 17yr old look older which is also the reason y women footballers look like men. These guys are U-17, they passed the FIFA MRI test as well. Besides West Africans usually look more matured in age and size than you South Africans. This Nigerian side will set an U-17 WC goals scoring record!

People grow up please, im tired of you fellow bloggers judging a person by how he looks. U mst understand west african players a big on statue and that doesnt mean they are old. Why people dont question Wayne Rooney, Peter Cech,Wilshire's age? Is it because they are born on the other side of the continent? Enough about this nonesense

Remember the the U20 world cup in Egypt? more than half of Nigeria squad was sent home for age cheating after MRI test, so u want us to believe this guy on the picture is or less than 17 years?! pathetic, no ways.

9-0! Even if there was age cheating, from under 17 to senior team isnt much of a difference to justify that huge scoreline...its embarrasing!
