Nigeria's Under-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets, beat Botswana 3-0 on Saturday in the first-leg of a two-legged friendly encounter played at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar.

The match was part of the preparations for the African Under-17 Championship which will commence next month in Morocco.

Debutant and former national Under-15 striker Taiwo Awoniyi put Nigeria ahead in the 16th minute, before Ifeanyi Matthew extended the Golden Eaglets lead around the half-hour mark.

Awoniyi headed in a cross from Musa Yahaya to complete his brace and seal the win for the hosts.

Nigeria are placed in Group B along with Congo, Ivory Coast and Ghana. While Botswana will have to face Gabon, Morocco and Tunisia in Group A.

This guy shouldn't in any way be an under 17. If this true NFF need kick him out of the team ,and the coach must be insane. I'm guessing it's not a picture kickoff as posted photos several times.
