PSL Match preview: Chippa United vs Black Leopards

Chippa United and Black Leopards will both be looking to bounce back from midweek defeats when they meet for an Premiership match at Phillipi Stadium on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 3.30pm.

Chippa’s first League match of 2013 ended in a 3-0 defeat away to Free State Stars on Tuesday evening.

The Cape Town team will be in search of their third home win this season, having claimed two victories from nine matches.

The Chilli Boys are 15th on the Premiership log with 13 points from 17 matches.

Leopards also suffered a defeat in their first game of the year, going down 2-0 at home to Bidvest Wits.

The Limpopo side has recorded two wins, four draws and two defeats from their eight away matches so far this season.

Lidoda Duvha are 13th on the Premiership log with 17 points from as many matches.

In head-to-head stats, Chippa United and Black Leopards have only one previous top flight meeting.

That encounter was earlier this season when the teams played to a goalless stalemate in a home match for Lidoda Duvha.
