The PSL mid-season transfer window will close today with strugglers Chippa United busy as they seek to complete the loan-deals of at least three players to First Division clubs including former youth international winger Justice Sithole.
Sithole is expected to wrap-up a loan-move to FC Cape Town for the rest of the season.
Also heading out on loan is Cyril Mashego who is moving out to Blackburn until the end of the season.
Chippa will also be loaning out Philani Dlamini to Thanda Royal Zulu in order to create space for the new players that they have signed who include Mbulelo Mabizela, Masibusane Zongo, Joshua Sauls and Stanton Lewis.
The Cape Town based club has also indicated that they are in negotiations with Martin Moonsamy with the intention of releasing him while Cole Alexander has been loaned out to Vasco da Gama via his principal club Ajax Cape Town.
Lukhanyo Mzinzi, the Chippa spokesman has confirmed that they are working on either loaning out or releasing several players in their squad.
“Pending finalisation Mashego will go to Blackburn who have been very co-operative in us getting Zongo. Thanda Royal Zulu have requested Philani Dlamini just like FC Cape Town who have asked for Justice. With regards to Martin we are talking to his representatives just like Larry Cohen,” says Mzinzi.
Mzinzi adds that Buyani Sali and Robin Rhode will be staying on at the club despite rumours that the duo could also be sacrificed.
