Cohen pays the price for Tweet

Following the sacking of coach Farouk Abrahams yesterday, Cohen immediately took to Twitter and said: "What a f*cking Joke!".

It was the fourth coaching casualty of the season and arguably the most bizarre one given that Abrahams had dragged the team off the foot of the table and got the team playing some good football.

Cohen was one of the stars, starting eight games and scoring twice, under Abrahams, but he tells KickOff.com his fortunes have changed dramatically at the club.

"I've been released and was told that I was no longer in the coach's plans," he says. "I can't say much … maybe after a few days I'll able to tell you more, but that's it for now."

The Chilli Boys have made some strange decision in recent days. They signed former youth international Ace Bhengu two weeks ago, but today it emerged that he has been deemed surplus to requirements.
