The midfielder picked up a yellow card against Burkina Faso, and another in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Ethiopia.
LOC officials met in Rustenburg on Wednesday morning to decide on disciplinary issues and resolved that the slate would not be wiped clean.

"The decision is that one yellow card can play, but two yellow cards will be suspended," Emmanuel Maradas, Media Manager at Rustenburg told KickOffNigeria.com.
The decision means players like Ogude on two yellow cards, will miss the quarterfinal games.
Ogude will be a big miss for Nigeria. His grit, power and enterprise in the holding role have provided the platform for the likes of John Mike Obi and Nosa Igiebor to venture up field with ease.
Likely replacements for the Valerenga man will be either Nosa Igiebor, or Kano Pillars' Babriel Reuben.
The latter is yet to see action so far, after only just recovering from illness.

Boss, Ivory Coast have won the group already. What applies here is the head to head between the teams. Ivory coast have beaten both Togo and Tunisia meaning no team will finish above Ivory Coast in group D. Algeria are already out because even if they beat Ivory Coast, they will only have 3 points and have also failed to beat both Tunisia and Togo. I hope i manage to help you there
