Balotelli’s City rollercoaster over

Roberto Mancini confirms Mario Balotelli will join AC Milan

Posted: 30 January 2013 Time: 11:18 am

Mario Balotelli is set to leave Manchester City for AC Milan this week, ending a two-and-a-half-year stay at the club which has consisted of more downs than ups.

The Italian international moved to England from Inter Milan in 2010 but, despite a few flashes of his brilliance, ‘Super Mario’ has made more front-page headlines than he would care to remember.

And following City’s goalless draw against Queens Park Rangers last night, City boss Roberto Mancini confirmed that Balotelli will be leaving the City of Manchester Stadium before the end of the week.

“Both clubs are talking about him,” Mancini told Sky Sports. “I think maybe tomorrow they conclude. I think that Mario is due for a medical.

“We are very sorry because we love Mario. But I think that he had this big chance to go back to Italy and to play for another top club like Milan.”

I will only remember Mario Balotelli as a good penalty taker. I dont understand the hype about him. His workrate is very low, i have never seen a player walking like this boy does. For me he is overrated.

Mario was still immature at City in Italy he'll grow fast cos de's no time to waste. Look at Boateng,Robinho, Lucio they are delivering for their respective teams. Thanx for that 6-1 hammering of Man U we'll always remember, "y always me"
