A lot of us in this forum are destined to believe that the SE will roll over for CIV will walk all over us. I do disagree with that school of thought. I believe will be a different ball game that will incite a different game plan. One major draw back is the absence of Ogude in the MF (2 yellow cards). CIV is very much going to be under immense pressure and the SE will play as if they have nothing to loose. Every body expects CIV to win that game and it can be very traumatic if by the 45th min the game is still draw. To fantasize, I will deploy Efe in the MF to play behind Mikel and mark Yaya Toure in the MF. I will pair Moses and Emenike upfront and flank Mikel with Mba and Uzoenyi (yes, Uzoenyi may be the joker in the team). Then the defence will be Elderson (LFB), Oboabona and Yobo (CDF) and Omeruo (RFB). Enyeama in goal. Good luck boys. So it will be a 4-4-2 with a diamond formation, with Mikel at the tip of the diamond.

It is become damning and irritating why we are in a hurry to fire the coach. Same Nigerian mentality, quick results, cutting corners and using apiam way to achieve incredible results. Samson Siasia did not take us to the last edition of the Nations cup, the same Ethiopia he could not defeat with the stars on parade that year have been defeated by Keshi's super chicken. Siasia has a problem just like Keshi too. Firing Keshi will not help. It takes a long time to build a team. Burkinafaso started building this team more than 4 yrs ago. Remember that they were in the last edition of ACN. Cape Verde also started building this team more than 4 yrs ago, with university students. CIV, we need not to think too deep to remember that they have been together for more than seven years (ie the core of the team). Just analyse our team with objective mind. These guys have never been together before now, they have never played in any major tournament and yet they have managed to make it to the QF of this edition of ACN, which to me is even more difficult than the last edition Siasia could not qualify us for. We praised Keshi when he qualified us by beating Liberia mercilessly. He kept on reminding all of us all that this team is a work in progress. Why have we easily forgotten his statement. World cup qualifiers is around the corner, why can we not be patient enough with this team. May be it is because we had so much expectations about their ability. From my point of view, this team have impressed me. On their ability to beat CIV, QED.

To be honest is not the best advise to be firing coaches but the problem with the NFF is they do not have a sound technical department or they are too corrupt. Tell me what are the perimeter used in hiring coaches for SE. Keshi is not a good coach throught out our group stage matches you can see there is no technicality in Nigeria games not to talk of the team selection or substitution. Please is high time we need to tell ourselves the truth . We need a good sound foreign coach that under Africa football. NFF has failed us all with their decision on selecting coaches for the national team
