Golden Arrows striker Norman Smith says he bears no grudges against Orlando Pirates’ Benni McCarthy after they came to blows during a practice match at Rand Stadium yesterday.
The duo had to be separated by their teammates and officials after some punches were exchanged, with one of the players at the game telling KickOff.com "it was a nasty incident".
Smith confirms the scuffle with McCarthy, but insists all is fine now.
“It was in the line of duty. It happens in football, but it was nothing serious,” he tells KickOff.com.
“We didn't speak afterwards but there are no hard feelings,” adds Smith, whose day got worse after he suffered a calf injury.

Fact, McCarthy has achieved what all the players at Chiefs will die still dreaming to achieve.
He can buy the team, Bobby (bail him out as well), Motaung senior (pay for his plastic surgery to remove dichubaba), motaung J (pay for his transformation to being a real man) and last but not least, Ms J (pay her 1000 x what she charges to her clients like Dladla).

smith. Yes soccer is a physical sport and little tussles are expected but the rate Mcarthy is goin at ....in terms of fights, is not acceptable

At OPFC we do not judge a striker with how many goals he's scored because we have a system that allows every player to score. Why don't you ask yourself why we have had the likes of Thwala, Jele, Lekgwathi, Sangweni (whose goal you are now celebrating for taking BB to where it is now), Matlaba, etc, scoring and doing so consistently? I know you will not remember because you are a zebra and zebras are well known for having small memories.
This statement above explains why we do not judge Bennie or any other striker on the number of goals he's scored but his overall contribution is what's key for us. We are operating in a completely different word with you on the basis that you boo Mapholoba when he doesn't score just as you did with Nhleko and we are not doing such a barbaric thing.
