Grobler completes SuperSport move

Bradley Grobler has confirmed he has been loaned to SuperSport United from Ajax Cape Town

Bradley Grobler has confirmed he has been loaned to SuperSport United in a swap-deal that will see Mabhuti Khenyeza moving to Ajax Cape Town.

Grobler’s representatives were locked in negotiations until the late hours of Friday with the deal being finally sealed today.

“Yes, I am now on loan to SuperSport United,” Grobler tells KickOff.com.

“There is an option to renew on the contract and I am very excited with the move,” adds the former Platinum Stars player.

Grobler, who scored 13 goals in the 2009/10 season, hopes the move will resurrect his football career.

Grobler, who signed for The Urban Warriors in July last year from Turkish club Göztepe, had struggled for form in Cape Town, and has scored just three goals this season as Ajax languish near the bottom of the log.
