Masibusane Zongo set to sign for Chippa United

The soccer gods have again smiled on wayward but talented Masibusane Zongo as he looks set to sign for Chippa United.

The nomadic midfielder was sent packing by First Division side Blackburn Rovers recently and he knocked on Chippa’s door for another shot at the topflight and KickOff.com has been informed that it is highly likely he may sign for the club.

“We are starting negotiations with Zongo and hopefully we will sign him,” says Chippa spokesperson Lukhanyo Mzinzi.

The 22-year-old previously played for SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits and Vasco Da Gama.
