Kalaba, who is due to play for Chipolopolo against Nigeria today in their second match of Afcon 2013, has been linked with a switch to the Buccaneers since the start of the January transfer window.
Pirates had hoped to tie up his signature before the deadline for registering players in the CAF Champions League on January 15 but he has now been submitted as part of the DR Congo side's squad.
And Mazembe official Andre Mtine confirms they have yet to receive any approach for the 26-year-old winger.
"There's nothing going on," he tells KickOff.com.
"We've read everything we can read about him in the newspapers but no one has written to us. We've registered him for the Champions League because as far as we're concerned he's still registered with us and has four years on his contract to go."
Kalaba has had spells in France, Portugal and Egypt but joined Mazembe in 2011.
