Malanti, who are coached by former Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Kenny Ndlazi, already have two South African players in their squad - former Platinum Stars midfielder Vusi Madinane and Sihle Ndaba.
According to Khanye's manager Lwazi Mazibuko, the midfielder was expected to start training with the side today.
"It's almost a done deal. The only thing left is for him is to sign on the dotted line as we have agreed everything in principle.
"He is already in Swaziland and is expected to start training with Malanti Chiefs today," Mazibuko adds.
