Schalkwyk ready to quit football

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Gert Schalkwyk is ready to quit football

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Gert Schalkwyk, who is currently clubless, is ready to quit football if he does not find a team soon.

Schalkwyk, who was dumped by Santos last season, is at home in Klerksdorp training by himself with no teams in the First Division or the Premiership showing any interest in signing him.

The midfielder trained with SuperSport United last year but did nothing to impress coach Gavin Hunt.

Schalkwyk tells KickOff.com that he is losing his patience about playing football at the highest level again.

"I am at home and training on my own. I am still searching for a club but with no success.

"If I can’t find a team during the transfer window period then I am ready to throw in the towel and quit soccer,” he says.

"I have lined-up other projects which I want to be involved with and to help my community here in Klerksdorp, which I intend to start as-soon-as I quit football," Schalkwyk adds.

When Krol asked you to fight for a place in the team you chose to become a fly in a tent and disturd the peace in our Camp
When The Iron Duke asked you to stay you said you miss Naturena . . . . . . . . the same Naturena where you were made to train with the Development team for 6 months

You left for Santos . . . . . . . . . look where and how you look now

You never show KC a finger when they show interest in you, when you were at Celtic Chiefs wanted you back and you decided otherwise.Cross the boarder my man or go to the bootlaces of Mr Makaab so that you can go overseas in Asia to be specific.

Gert Schalkwyk distroyed himself, Chiefs loaned you out for game time, and when they wanted you back you chose Pirates instead and you badmouthed Chiefs. later you joined Maritzburg and when they benched you, you decided to leave them, @Santos you quit them for no apparent reason. You were big headed like some chickens who thought you can become a star in 4 seasons forgeting about career achievement.

All of these players should learn that prostitution is not lifetime career as your looks changes with time. soccer days are numbered so you need to be wise while you are active at it. now you should consider playing at Mvela division and work 4 times harder. learn from the humble David "Umkhambi ka Noah" Raded, Gerald Sibeko they are being rewarded at the moment. hard work and humble or go be Jabu Pule aka Mahlangu's friend
