West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie is still focused on the club after being linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers

West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie is still focused on the club after being linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers, according to coach Steve Clark.

The striker is believed to be on the verge of leaving The Baggies after a £2.5 million bid from Harry Redknapp's OPR.

However according to Clarke, Odemwingie had nothing to say about the move and was instead focusing on their next game against Aston Villa this weekend.

"I spoke to Peter yesterday - I had a good chat with him," Clarke told the Birmingham Mail.

"All he wanted to talk about was the game on Saturday. I've got no reason to doubt it.

"Queens Park Rangers are entitled to make their bids.

"Anyone can do that - they made an enquiry, a bid, they went through the official channels. It's easy for us to say no.

"The players know what the situation is [regarding their prospects of being sold]."

Odemwingie has a year and a half left on his Baggies contract.

By all means we must miss those stylish move you make with the ball. though to drop u was not a bad idea but to replace u with a baby player is.
u arent the prob in se those unserious players are...but what beats my mind is this...

i am just amazed all of a sudden people are beginning to think nigeria should win the cup. with what class of players should they win the cup? some one should give me a good logic.

as for me, i will say the experiment worked during qualifiers and i wait to see how it will work in AFCON. I AM NOT A DREAMER but i believe there is miracle.

Hi bro. are you that cheap?, are you not better than the guy they bought $8M from Lyon? Moreover why go from mid-table club to a relegation club? come on, don't you see Demba Ba?
Pls. don't listen or even talk to them. Forward ever backward ever.

With Peter Odemwingie. Its hard to say whether its really fair or not. I've actually met the guy personally. He seems cool. I hope you guys dont confuse the word "outspoken" with arrogance.

Hope to see him again though at some point in the se team ...maybe in the world cup? Who Knows : )

I thought we should be focusing more on the AFCON at this point than this kind of piece!

My advise to u is to stay at WB. Even see the type of money they tabled. You are not just a cheap item ready to be bought. You have pride and age is not on ur side again, so that u ll not see urself playing in division 1 next season.

Osas, congratulations on scoring your fifth goal in the league today. Please keep the flag flying. You will be back in the Eagles soon. Slyman
