No Chiefs offer for Mayambela

No Kaizer Chiefs offer for Orlando Pirates midfielder Mark Mayambela

Posted: 15 January 2013 Time: 3:06 pm

Despite Mark Mayambela’s comment that he is holding out for a move to Kaizer Chiefs, there has been no formal approach from Naturena for the midfielder.

The Orlando Pirates man looked set to sign with Chippa United last week, but the move broke down at the final hurdle, with Mayambela not willing to sign for longer than six months.

Chilli Boys boss Chippa Mpengesi told KickOff.com that the player was holding out for a move to Chiefs, but his agent, Tim Sukazi, insists there has been no approach from Amakhosi.

“No, we have not received any formal approach from Kaizer Chiefs,” Sukazi tells KickOff.com. “But of course Mark is an ambitious player who could do well in a different environment like Chiefs, so if something does come we will look at it.”

When asked whether he would accept a new contract offer from the Buccaneers, should it be forthcoming, Sukazi says: “If Pirates were to offer a new deal we would look at it, for sure, but there would also need to be some guarantees.

“It doesn’t help him signing another long-term contract if his situation doesn’t change. He needs game-time and that is what he is after.”

Sukazi adds: “We find it bizarre as to why Mark is not playing at the moment. However, we do respect the coach’s decision. Roger de Sa is doing a great job with Mark at the moment. Maybe he is going with the ‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it’ approach.”

Mayambela is not a Kaizer Chiefs material....we don't want players who never grow out of this street football nonsense.....we need players who can take their street football skills and blend it with modern football....We do not want players who play with no direction, If this guy has to join Chiefs he has a lot to work on.

Chiefs have never done anything formal when it comes to signing players. Who can forget Papi Zothwane, Mthembu, Nale, Zwane, Ngobe and many more others. So i can absolutely assure everyone that Chiefs approached Mark in secret.

Kaizer Chiefs will not sign this Scara Ngobese (R.I.P) wanabe. There can only be 1 Scar Ngobese. This guy,Rudolf Bester and Lehlohonolo Masalesa are Mxit experts on the stands. What value will he bring to The Mountain of Molotov ? They trying to push him to our side so he can destabilize the The Glory.

What's there point of dribbling all defenders and dribbling yourself at the end of the run?

Why would Kaizer Chiefs Football Club sign a two left footed player?

Come on Sukazi, is it not clear, that although the boy can do some fancy tricks with the ball, he lacks the brains, intelligence, discipline to be a quality player! This buffoon has not realized that football is more than fancy tricks! He can't pass for sh*t, he holds too long even in counter attack situations! To be honest Chippa was doing him a favor, he missed the chance, thought himself too great for Chippa, well, next he will be playing in Vodacom League.
