Crocked Nigeria goalkeeper Austin Ejide returned to training on Monday as the team rounded off preparations in Faro, Portugal.
The goalkeeper hobbled off in the opening quarter of the Super Eagles' 0-0 draw against Cape Verde last week with the initial prognosis being projecting he would be out for about two weeks.
However, it seems Ejide is making accelerated progress in his race for fitness.

The 28-year-old did some work in the pool on Sunday before training gingerly with goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorunmu and physiotherapist Olawale Oladejo.
Ejide, who plays for Israeli club Hapoel Beer Sheva will remain under close monitoring and will not be rushed back.
