Maritzburg United have insisted that Ghanaian international Mohammed Awal will not be sold to Orlando Pirates – at least until the end of the season.
KickOff.com earlier reported that Awal is keen on a move to Bucs, but the KwaZulu-Natal club's operations manager Quinton Jettoo insist the 24-year-old is staying put.

"We will not be selling Awal during the January transfer window," Jettoo says. "We will not sell him at least until the end of the season. There is a lot of interest from Europe."
Awal's current contract expires in June 2015.

Who doesn't want to join the home of champions, the home of milk and honey.
But Mr Awal at Pirates no one is guaranteed a place, don't let my fellow bucs fans words that you will retire my Captain Lucky, NO, you need to work hard to get regular game time. We also have the likes abo Ayanda and Gumede waiting on the wings.
Kalaba also have agreed to sign on a 3 year contract and the Iron Duke is finalising the details with TP Mazembe.

Only a fool will believe stories coming from Kickoff.These guys always come up with 1 paragraph half baked stories which are based on gossip.
There is not even a comment from the player agent or the player himself . And finaly we are told \"Maritzburg boss Farook Kadodia couldn’t be reached for comment\\" and this is supposed to be a story ?
And this from the very same people wo told us last week that MAyambela had signed for Chippa Utd only to tell us a different story the next day.
If this Awal guy signs for another team the Gorillas will call him :
